DESCRIPTION:Feb 25-28 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM\nLocation: Englewood Training Site (Physical Classroom)\nInstructor: Kenton Meyer\n\nThis course (1-3587) is four days long and is intended for end-users\, Quantum Service Partners (QSPs)\, and Quantum team members who need training on both StorNext File System and StorNext Storage Manager. \nStudents can register for either the physical classroom training option that is taught at a Quantum Training Facility or for the remote option that is taught through a virtual classroom session. Both are live and instructor-led. \nThis course provides students with hands-on practice performing key configuration\, administration\, and support tasks in the StorNext graphical user interface (GUI) and command line interface (CLI) while being guided by an instructor. The tasks include: configuring StorNext; defining storage policies; using tools and commands; managing files; performing library and media operations; installing and configuring clients; managing a high availability (HA) environment; and performing diagnostics.

QXS Storage Concepts and Management Learn about the linear and virtual storage architectures offered by QXS Hybrid Storage\, features enabled by QXS virtual storage\, and the management of storage using the GUI and CLI. QXS Licenses and Features of Virtual Storage Learn about the license acquisition and installation process\, as well as brief descriptions of the following QXS licenses: Q-Tier\, Q-Snap\, Q-Replicate\, and Q-Copy. Also learn about Q-Tools\, which is a collection of standard features made available by virtual storage. These features include SSD read cache\, thin provisioning\, automatic pooling\, and RAID rapid rebuilds.
