It gives students hands-on practice with key allocation and performance tuning tasks while being guided by an instructor. The tasks include: identifying file allocation behaviors; detecting and resolving fragmentation issues; using buffering to enhance performance; interpreting performance trace logging; and configuring Quality of Service (QoS).
