This course is one day long and is intended for end-users, Quantum Service Partners (QSPs), and Quantum team members who have completed the StorNext File System and Storage Manager Administration (1-3587 Instructor-Led Training) course and who need additional StorNext performance tuning training.
This course is available only as a virtual classroom course. It gives students hands-on practice with key allocation and performance tuning tasks while being guided by an instructor. The tasks include: identifying file allocation behaviors; detecting and resolving fragmentation issues; using buffering to enhance performance; interpreting performance trace logging; and configuring Quality of Service (QoS).
